Man Utd finally agree deal for sign Rasmus Hojlund

Hojlund to sign for Man Utd

Manchester United have finally reached an agreement with Atalanta to sign Rasmus Hojlund, according to The Athletic.

The Red Devils have been busy in the transfer window this month, and they have already secured deals for Mason Mount and Andre Onana.

The club have now settled on a transfer package for Hojlund. They have accepted to pay €75m plus a further €10m in add-ons.

Atalanta were initially looking for €90m for the striker, but United have managed to secure a discount through negotiations.

The fee is still high for an unproven young striker, but Erik ten Hag clearly believes he can be a top-class marksman in future.

He has already spoken personally to the player regarding his plans for him, and the striker could be eased into the proceedings.

Hojlund is likely to join the club in the coming days, but he will need plenty of time to adapt to the demands of the top-flight.

Marcus Rashford could lead the attack for the first few games of the new season before returning to his left-wing position.
