Ilaix Moriba wanted by Liverpool

Liverpool's pursuit of a new midfielder could have landed on RB Leipzig's talented defensive anchorman Ilaix Moriba, the Guinean starlet who spent last season on loan with La Liga club Valencia. Moriba, who has played for several of Spain's youth sides, is a full international for Guinea and the 20-year-old is regarded as one of Europe's best young central midfielders.
With Fabinho set to follow Jordan Henderson out of Anfield, Liverpool are at a crossroads where they need to find replacements for the two outgoing midfielders. Alexis Mac Allister has already been brought in from Brighton and Hove Albion and Dominik Szoboszlai was also signed from RB Leipzig earlier in the transfer window. However, Jurgen Klopp is concerned that he lacks defensive reinforcements in midfield and thus a move for Moriba could soon materialise.
The 6 foot 1 Conakry-born player appeared 38 times in La Liga lasts season for Valencia; and in the year prior played twice for parent club RB Leipzig. It is understood that Leipzig are looking for at least 30 million euros for the player, and will reject any bid lower than that for the hot prospect.
