David Raya likely to join Bayern Munich

Brentford goalkeeper David Raya is all set to make a transfer to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich this week, as the Spanish keeper has rejected a new contract offer from the Bees and flown to Germany to discuss a deal. Raya impressed last season and was also a target for Man Utd and Liverpool.
The 27-year-old contributed with 11 clean sheets in the Premier League last season, and the move to Bayern is seen as a deal that will allow Raya to become long-term replacement for current number 1 Manuel Neuer.
Brentford have already signed Mark Flekken from Freiburg this summer in a deal worth around £11 million. Raya will be allowed to leave for £25 million.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank confirmed talk of a departure for Raya, telling reporters: "I think it's natural that he would like to leave if it's a good opportunity for him. We all think it's a good idea at the right price."
Raya took part in pre-season friendlies for Brentford despite the talk of a move away from the Premier League.
