Moises Caicedo left out of Brighton squad vs Rayo Vallecano
Chelsea target Moises Caicedo has been left out of Brighton & Hove Albion's squad for their friendly against Rayo Vallecano.
The Ecuadorian has been determined to join the Blues this summer, but the west London giants are yet to settle on a fee.
They recently made a £80 million bid on the table for the 21-year-old star, but it was deemed insufficient by the Seagulls.
It is now reported that Brighton have given Caicedo the weekend off in order to focus on the start of the Premier League season.
Robert De Zerbi's side host Luton Town in their curtain-raiser on Saturday, and they consider Caicedo as a key player for them.
Chelsea continue to remain interested in signing the South American ace, but Brighton are reluctant to lower their demands.
Brighton have made it clear to Chelsea that it would take £100m for them to consider the departure of Caicedo this summer.
The Blues have no choice but to meet the requirements. We believe it could happen in the final days of the transfer window.
