Man Utd ready to accelerate talks to sign 26yo

Sofyan Amrabat news

Amrabat close to Man Utd transfer?

Manchester United are ready to accelerate talks with Fiorentina for the signing of Sofyan Amrabat.

The Red Devils recently completed the purchase of Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta. Amrabat is the next player on their radar.

The club have yet to make a formal proposal for the 26-year-old, but La Repubblica claim that it could be made pretty soon.

Amrabat has already made his mind up to join the Red Devils. He has agreed a long-term contract on wages worth £75,000-a-week.

Fiorentina currently want around £26 million for the Moroccan star, but it is reported that they could be convinced to accept less up front.

United are yet to make an official bid, but it could be delayed for a while as they look to offload a couple of midfielders from the squad.

Fred is expected to leave the club in the coming days while Donny van de Beek could also head for the exit door in the near future.

Scott McTominay is another candidate that could be sold by United.
