Bernardo Silva set for Barcelona?

Manchester City could be set to allow Portugal international midfielder Bernardo Silva leave the club, as Barcelona table a final bid of 40 million euros for the player. The 28-year-old has been with the club since 2017, playing 200 times and scoring 33 goals, making him one of the club's greatest players of all time.

Barcelona have already signed Ilkay Gundogan on a free transfer this summer, and the club are hopeful that a transfer can be agreed for Bernardo Silva to join his former team mate.

The former Benfica and Monaco star has won five Premier League titles since his arrival, two FA Cups and four League Cups, alongside the jewel in the crown, last season's Champions League victory. It is an impressive haul for the player who is said to be ready to leave the club.

Barcelona have a limited transfer budget, but there are reports that Man City could let the Portuguese midfielder depart for a smaller fee as a thank you for the successes that he has brought to the club since his arrival.
