Chelsea close to signing another striker?

Chelsea could be edging closer to signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The west London giants currently have Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson as their striking options, but the former is injured.

The Frenchman is anticipated to return in a few weeks, but the Blues are still determined to land a new centre-forward.

It is now reported that the Blues are expected to step up negotiations with Juventus over the transfer of Vlahovic.

The club are looking to sign him in a part-exchange deal for Lukaku, and they are not far away from an agreement.

Juventus and Chelsea value Lukaku in the region of €40m, but the Blues need to sort out a fee for Vlahovic.

The Blues previously offered €20m in addition to Lukaku. It is claimed that another €10m could seal the deal.

Vlahovic is currently looking at different options for his future, but he is open to joining the London outfit.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with him, but a move depends on Harry Kane's departure in the coming weeks.
