Man Utd suffer another injury blow ahead of Arsenal game
Manchester United have suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Arsenal on the road.
The Red Devils have had a mixed start to the campaign, and they have picked up six points from the first three matches.
The club are scheduled to face the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Ahead of the game, they have suffered a setback.
Raphael Varane picked up an injury in the recent 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest. He was substituted at the interval.
Erik ten Hag did not have an update on him, but Sky Sports report that he could be on the sidelines for six weeks.
In the absence of Varane, Victor Lindelof is the natural replacement. He is expected to partner Lisandro Martinez in central defence.
United have been defensively vulnerable at the start of the campaign, and will need a huge improvement at Arsenal.
The midfield battle will be interesting to watch. United have lost plenty of duels in the centre of the park this season.
Aside from Varane, United are also without Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Tyrell Malacia for a period of time with injuries.
