Liverpool to pursue two players in January?
Liverpool could revive their interest in signing two players when the transfer window reopens in January 2024.
The Merseyside giants focused on bolstering their midfield department this summer with the purchases of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch.
Jurgen Klopp's side were also interested in landing Fluminense midfielder Andre this summer, but the Brazilian outfit were reluctant to do business midway through their season.
It is now reported that the Reds could make a fresh attempt to land the defensive midfielder at the turn of the year. They could also focus on signing winger Johan Bakayoko.
Bakayoko was the subject of a €40 million bid from Brentford this week, but the 20-year-old turned them down in order to join a more lucrative and high-profile club in future.
Liverpool were one of the teams that made contact with their entourage and they could move for him in January if Klopp wants more attacking ammunition in the squad.
