Guus Hiddink has named a 25 man preliminary squad for Euro 2008. The squad for the tournament will consist of 23 players, but Russia are still yet to play two friendlies against Serbia and Lithuania.

Squad:

Goalkeepers: Vyacheslav Malafeev (Zenit St. Petersburg), Vladimir Gabulov (Kuban), Igor Akinfeev (CSKA Moscow).

Defenders: Alexander Anyukov (Zenit St. Petersburg), Alexei Berezutskiy (CSKA Moscow), Vasiliy Berezutskiy (CSKA Moscow), Sergei Ignashevich (CSKA Moscow), Denis Kolodin (Dynamo Moscow).
