Anthony Martial likely to leave for Spain transfer in January
Anthony Martial's spell at Old Trafford appears to be coming to an end, after Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag informed the Frenchman that there is interest from Barcelona in the player's services, in what would be a cut price deal of around £14 million. Martial hasn't fulfilled his potential at Man Utd, and the club will cash in during January on a player that also has caught the eye of Sevilla and Lyon in recent months.
The 27-year-old is wanted at the Nou Camp as Barca seek attacking backup for Robert Lewandowski, and are ready to double the player's salary should he make a move to La Liga.
Martial's deal at Man Utd will expire next summer, and the club ultimately do not want to lose the player on a free transfer and so will now look to cash in.
Rasmus Hojlund just arrived at United from Atalanta, and Erik Ten Hag sees the Danish striker as his first choice striker once the player has regained full fitness and has some experience in the Premier League with a few games under his belt.
