Chelsea emerge as favourites for Victor Osimhen

Chelsea have emerged as favourites to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen at the end of the current campaign.

Armando Broja started and scored in the 2-0 win over Fulham yesterday, but the Armenian has been inconsistent and he is also injury prone.

Hence, the west London giants are likely to invest on a marquee addition soon and it is claimed that they are leading the pursuit of Osimhen.

The Nigerian was recently mocked by Napoli's TikTok account after he missed a penalty. The club only offered a private apology to him.

This has not gone well with the striker and there are suggestions that this could be his final campaign with the reigning Italian champions.

Osimhen's current deal concludes in the summer of 2025, and Napoli may have no choice but to sell him for a lucrative fee next summer.
