Mauricio Pochettino reveals Chelsea trio could make squad vs Burnley
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Mykhailo Mudryk, Moises Caicedo and Carney Chukwuemeka could make the squad versus Burnley this weekend.
The Blues returned to winning ways on Monday night with a 2-0 victory over Fulham on the road. They are now eyeing back-to-back wins and should be favourites to beat the Clarets at Turf Moor.
Ahead of Saturday's game, Pochettino has revealed that Mudryk and Caicedo have recovered from their respective knocks, but he has yet to decide whether they will make the starting line-up or not.
The Blues boss also provided an update on Chukwuemeka. Pochettino said that the midfielder was close to making the squad in the last game and is in contention for the trip to Lancashire tomorrow.
Chelsea are currently 11th in the league standings with eight points on the board. They are already eight points behind the Champions League places after just seven games into the top-flight campaign.
They have the opportunity to close the gap before the international break with a win. The Blues have a tough schedule following the two-week interval.
