Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Man City, Casemiro starts

Predicted Man Utd line-up vs Man City today

Manchester United will be aiming a fourth-straight win when they host Manchester City in the Premier League this afternoon.

The Red Devils beat their arch-rivals in the same fixture at Old Trafford last term and they will be eyeing something similar.

Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana is a nailed-on starter between the sticks for the Red Devils. He has played every minute so far and is unlikely to be dropped on the back of his heroic penalty save in midweek.

In front of him, no changes are expected in the backline. Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane and Sergio Reguilon are United's best combination in the back four, taking form into consideration.

In midfield, there could be one change from the midweek win. Scott McTominay should make way after an underwhelming display. He gifted Copenhagen with a needless penalty in stoppage time.

Casemiro and Sofyan Amrabat should line up in the centre of the park. The duo are the club's best defensive midfielders and will need to be at their best to come on top in the Manchester derby today.

In attack, no changes are on the cards. Antony is an undisputed starter on the right wing when fit and available and the Brazilian is expected to keep his starting spot for the third straight game.

The same can be said for Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund. The latter will be eyeing his maiden Premier League goal, having already scored three for the club in Europe this term.

Predicted Line-up (4-2-3-1): Onana; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Reguilon; Casemiro, Amrabat; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.
