Chelsea want to make two signings in January

Chelsea make plans for January

Chelsea have their sights on bolstering two positions during the January transfer window, according to Mirror.

The Blues have had a poor start to the Premier League campaign and they currently have 12 points from 10 games.

They are already 11 points behind the top four positions and look set to miss out on Champions League football again.

With this in mind, Mauricio Pochettino is likely to spend again in January and he has his sights on two key signings.

The manager has made the decision to part ways with Trevoh Chalobah and he wants a quality replacement for him.

The Argentine is also eyeing another quality centre-forward with Nicolas Jackson flattering to deceive thus far.

Jackson has just two league goals despite being a regular starter for the west London giants. He has been disappointing.

The Blues are admirers of Ivan Toney of Brentford, who is likely to pursue a bigger challenge after his betting ban.
