Antoine Griezmann to join Chelsea or Man Utd?

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann could join either Chelsea or Manchester United during the forthcoming transfer window, according to Sport.

The Frenchman has been in sensational form for the La Liga giants this campaign. He has netted 12 goals in the space of just 16 appearances across all competitions for them.

It is now reported by Sport that Griezmann could make way from Atletico this winter with the chance to play in the Premier League during the final phase of his playing career.

Chelsea and United are both aware of the low €25 million release clause in his contract, but it is claimed that the latter could have the upper hand due to the player's personal weakness.

Griezmann is a huge admirer of United legend David Beckham and this could urge him to accept a move to Old Trafford if there was a bidding war between the clubs this winter.

Atletico are reluctant to lose him at the midway stage of the campaign and remain hopeful of negotiating a new deal while increasing the valuation of the buy-out clause.
