Arsenal may not make any signings during the January transfer window, according to David Ornstein.

The Gunners have had a good Premier League campaign thus far and they are currently second in the table with 36 points, one behind Liverpool.

Ahead of the New Year, there has been much talk of the Gunners spending on a new striker, but Ornstein claims that there are no plans for now.

The Gunners are walking a tight rope with Financial Fair Play and they seem unlikely to spend in January without the possibility of outgoings.

There is no player in the current squad, who is on the cusp of leaving. Aaron Ramsdale has been linked, but the Gunners prefer to keep him.

Thomas Partey and Jakub Kiwior have also been touted to part ways, but the Gunners are not exploring mid-season exits for either player.

Hence, the club may not make any signings in January and are likely to wait until the end of the campaign to land a marquee striker.
