Bundesliga club to sign Man Utd midfielder in January?

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly favourites to sign Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek on loan next month.

The Netherlands international has had a difficult season with the Red Devils and he has played less than 30 minutes across all competitions.

United have given the green light to offload him this winter and Fabrizio Romano claims that Frankfurt are leading the pursuit of the midfielder.

La Liga leaders Girona are also exploring a deal for the Dutchman, but Frankfurt's proposal is deemed to be much better on paper for United.

Van de Beek will be eager to restart his career elsewhere, having failed to convince manager Erik ten Hag into playing him regularly.

It was anticipated that Ten Hag's strong relationship with him at Ajax would change his fortunes, but that has hardly happened to date.

Bruno Fernandes is an undisputed starter in the number 10 role and Van de Beek needs to find a new challenge away from the club.
