Mikel Arteta speaks on potential January signings

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has opened the door to making signings during the January transfer window.
The Gunners have had another top Premier League campaign and they are currently second in the table with 40 points.
The north London giants have the opportunity to return to the top with a victory tomorrow against West Ham United.
Ahead of the game, Arteta acknowledged that the club have certain targets and ideas and could invest in the transfer market.
He said: "We have certain targets and ideas. We don’t know how the squad is going to look in two weeks time. It’s a very tricky market that shifts quite quickly."
Arsenal are aiming to land a marquee striker in January and they have identified Brentford's Ivan Toney as the prime target.
However, it is unclear whether they can afford to pay around £60 million amid FFP issues and may prefer a loan deal instead.
For this to happen, they would first need to secure a permanent deal for David Raya and convince the Bees into accepting their proposal.
