Mikel Arteta reacts after Arsenal's FA Cup exit vs Liverpool

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that the Gunners should have won the game with the amount of chances created against Liverpool in the FA Cup third round.
The north London giants bowed out of the competition at the first time of asking following a 2-0 loss to the Reds. Jurgen Klopp's side won after an own goal and a stoppage time strike from Luis Diaz.
The Gunners were by far the better team on the evening, but they were made to rue for several missed chances on goal. Speaking after the game, Arteta voiced his concern over the lack of cutting edge.
He said: "Well the performance was there and the amount of chances too."We just have to win the game, but we lost it and we are not capitalising."
"To win games we need to capitalise. When you are better than the best team in Europe and you generate that amount of chances. I have not seen a team do it against them like we have done it. It is not enough. The reality is, it is not enough."
With the defeat, the Gunners have lost three games on the bounce. They need to react in the next Premier League game against Crystal Palace on January 20.
