Jadon Sancho completes move to Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund have re-signed Jadon Sancho on loan from Man Utd today, in a deal worth around 8 million euros. The winger is hopeful an impressive spell in the Bundesliga gives him an opportunity to represent England at this summer's Euro 2024 tournament.
Dortmund have no permanent option on Sancho, so the stay will be a temporary one. Man Utd manager Erik Ten Hag had fallen out with Sancho, and the player is now seeking regular first-team football back at his former club. The former Man City player will now likely leave Manchester United on a permanent basis in the summer.
"When I came into the dressing room today, it felt like 'coming home'," Sancho said.
"I know the club inside and out, I've always been very close with the fans here, and I've never lost contact with those in charge.
"I can't wait to see my team-mates again, go out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, prepare goals, score goals and help qualify for the Champions League."
