Man Utd lining up loan move for Xavi Simons?
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain winger Xavi Simons on a season-long loan deal.
The Red Devils were keen on landing the Dutchman last summer, but he opted to join RB Leipzig on a temporary basis.
Simons had a good campaign with 15 goals and 10 assists and he is now expected to pursue another loan away from PSG.
United are 'very interested' in landing him, as per Mundo Deportivo, but the attacker has his sights on joining Barcelona instead.
Simons spent eight years in the La Masia academy before moving to Paris. He is keen on reuniting with the Blaugrana this summer.
Hence, he is prepared to playing the waiting game and will only consider other options if Barcelona are unable to recruit him.
Aside from United, Chelsea and Napoli have been linked with loan bids for the highly-rated star, who can play on both wings.
Simons is quite clear that he wants to spend next season at Barcelona.
