Man Utd have serious interest in signing Dutch striker
Manchester United have serious interest in signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Red Devils are on the hunt for a centre-forward with Anthony Martial expected to leave the club very soon.
The Frenchman's deal expires at the end of June and he is expected to walk away from United on a free transfer.
Zirkzee has been identified as the prime transfer target, but Plettenberg claims that Bologna won't sell him this month.
The Serie A outfit have performed above expectations this season and they are eyeing a potential finish in the top four.
The club have decided to keep Zirkzee, who has scored seven league goals, but they could be helpless in the summer.
The striker has a release clause worth €40 million in his contract which will become active from the start of July 2024.
Aside from United, Arsenal and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in signing the former Bayern ace.
