Arsenal eyeing surprise move for Fiorentina wonderkid?

Arsenal could make a surprise move to sign Fiorentina wonderkid Michael Kayode this summer, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Gunners are planning to reinforce their backline further this summer and they have been linked with multiple names in recent weeks.

It is now reported that Kayode is on their transfer radar and the club have been monitoring him for a significant period of time.

Arsenal had an interest in him last year before his new deal and they could be back in the hunt for his signature at the end of the season.

Kayode is likely to cost at least €30m and it is claimed that the right-back is also on the radar of Inter Milan ahead of the summer.

Both clubs have sent scouts to monitor him against Monza tonight. He has been picked in the starting line-up by manager Vincenzo Italiano.

It is left to be seen whether Arsenal move for his services as they already have Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber for the right-back role.
