Key Man Utd attacker doubtful to face Newport County

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is doubtful to face Newport County in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday evening.

The England international has had a difficult season by his standards and he has been hugely inconsistent in the final third.

Despite this, he remains a key player under manager Erik ten Hag, but it is unclear whether he will face Newport on the road tomorrow.

Rashford did not train with the squad in yesterday's training session due to illness which makes him doubtful for the South Wales trip.

In his absence, Alejandro Garnacho could start on the left wing, swapping from the right where he has started in recent games.

Antony looks the likely candidate to start on the right flank, but Ten Hag also has Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri as options.

Pellistri is unlikely to make the squad in our opinion, considering he is on the verge of joining Granada on a short-term loan deal.
