Chelsea pushing to sign Victor Osimhen?

Chelsea are reportedly pushing to land the signature of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Blues have been disappointing in the final third this term and they missed out on the Carabao Cup title for the same reason.

The club were guilty of missing five big chances on goal. They paid the price with Virgil van Dijk scoring a late winner for Liverpool.

It is now reported by Napoli Magazine that the Blues are pushing to secure the services of Osimhen ahead of Les Parisiens.

Osimhen will be allowed to leave for his €130 million release clause from July, but the Blues are eyeing an early agreement.

It may not be difficult to persuade the striker, considering he was a boyhood Chelsea fan and Didier Drogba was his idol.

Osimhen has netted 41 goals since the start of last season for Napoli. He would be a big upgrade on Nicolas Jackson.

His arrival could pave the way for Armando Broja's permanent exit.
