Arsenal & Liverpool candidates to sign Dortmund star

Arsenal and Liverpool are potential candidates to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen this summer, as per Florian Plettenberg.

The Netherlands international has had a mixed season with the German giants. He has still registered 10 goals and eight assists in all competitions.

He is prepared to pursue a new challenge in the summer and Florian Plettenberg claims that the Gunners and Reds are in the mix.

The duo are considered as concrete options for the Dutchman, but he is unlikely to come on the cheap with a price tag of €40-50 million.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal are looking for a new winger, but the Gunners could prioritise the position more ahead of the 2024/25 season.

They are currently lacking a solid back-up for Bukayo Saka on the right wing. Malen would be a good acquisition for the attacking role.

Malen was previously in the Arsenal youth system and he has recently admitted that he would like to rejoin the Gunners in future.
