Chelsea receive double injury boost but key defender out
Chelsea have received a double injury boost with Trevoh Chalobah and Malo Gusto available to face Manchester United in the Premier League.
The Blues entertain the Red Devils at Stamford Bridge tomorrow and ahead of the game, they have been handed a double boost on the injury front.
Speaking in today's press conference, manager Mauricio Pochettino said that Chalobah and Gusto will be back in the squad against the Red Devils.
However, the Argentine tactician added that Ben Chilwell won't be in contention for the game, having had fluid removed from his knee.
He said: "Trevoh and Malo trained with us. They will be ready to be in the squad."
"Chilly, no, we didn't see since Friday because the doctor removed a lot of fluid from his knee.
"Saturday he got ill. Monday, Tuesday and today he's not here, he's at home..."
Chelsea have had a disastrous league record against United and they have not beaten them since 2017. They will be aiming to end the streak.
Cole Palmer will be key to their chances of doing so. He has been a key contributor with 30 goal involvements over the whole campaign.
