Arsenal linked with new shotstopper as backup to Raya

Arsenal have decided that Aaron Ramsdale will be allowed to leave The Emirates Stadium this summer, and that a new goalkeeper is on their list of top priorities. Ramsdale has been linked with a transfer move to both Wolves, Ipswich Town and Man Utd, and the Gunners will now contact FC Koln regarding their impressive 20-year-old keeper Jonas Urbig.
Jonas Urbig has been an almost ever present this season in the 2. Bundesliga, and has kept an impressive 9 clean sheets in 30 games for his temporary club. The Euskirchen-born keeper is currently at Greuther Furth and will return to FC Koln on the 30th of June.
Arsenal have been looking for a new keeper for some months and have ultimately decided that the signing of Urbig will add much needed backup to David Raya, who will move to the Emirates on a permanent basis from Premier League side Brentford in a deal worth £30 million.
Urbig is valued at around £12 million by FC Koln, and the keeper has admitted that it would be a dream to play in the Premier League.
In signing Urbig, the North London side will be agreeing a deal for one of Germany's best young prospects and a possible eventual successor to Raya in a few seasons time.
