Arsenal eyeing swoop for Wolves goalkeeper
Arsenal are eyeing a surprise move for Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Dan Bentley, according to David Ornstein.
The Gunners currently have David Raya as their first-choice goalkeeper with Aaron Ramsdale acting as his potential deputy.
Ramsdale has been linked with a potential move away from the club, but as things stand, there are no offers on the table.
Despite this, the Gunners are said to be pursuing a new keeper and Bentley is reportedly prepared to accept a third-choice role.
However, a deal won't be easy to secure. Wolves want a reasonable fee for the transfer such that they can reinvest on a replacement.
Bentley has made just seven appearances in the Premier League over the last two seasons. He has been a deputy behind Jose Sa.
Despite this, he continues to be valued by Wolves, who believe he could become their number one goalkeeper in the near future.
Sa has been linked with a big-money move to Saudi Arabia.
