London club make record bid to sign Arsenal star

Fulham have made a club-record bid to sign Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, according to David Ornstein.
The 24-year-old has been a fringe player for the Gunners over the last two seasons amid injuries and competition for places.
Smith Rowe has played just over 700 minutes in this period and he is now expected to leave the Gunners on a permanent basis.
Fulham have made a club-record offer of £35m for the playmaker and it is widely expected to be accepted by the Gunners.
Smith Rowe has given the green light for a move to west London and he is currently waiting for the payment terms to be sorted.
The Gunners graduate did not feature in the pre-season game against Bournemouth in the United States on Wednesday night.
With negotiations at an advanced stage, the Cottagers don't want Smith Rowe to pick up any unfortunate injury setback.
Smith Rowe could travel back to London in the next few days. He is unlikely to take part in any friendlies for Arsenal.
