Leicester enter talks to sign Arsenal winger on loan
Leicester City have entered talks to sign Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson on loan with an obligation to buy next summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 24-year-old is currently with the Gunners in their pre-season tour of the United States, but he is expected to leave the club pretty soon.
The Foxes have now opened negotiations with the Gunners and they are exploring a season-long loan with a mandatory buy option.
The Midlands outfit are confident of striking an agreement and Nelson is also interested in the move due to the presence of Steve Cooper.
Cooper, who is currently the Foxes' manager, previously coached Nelson when he was with the England Under-18s and Under-21s.
Nelson has been a fringe player for the Gunners over the years, and he has the chance to enhance his career with regular playing time.
Arsenal are likely to demand between £20-25 million for the attacker, who is also on the radar of West Ham United and Brighton.
