Four Arsenal stars nominated for Ballon d'Or award

Four Arsenal stars have been nominated for the 2024 Ballon d'Or award following an impressive 2023/24 Premier League season.

The Gunners had a brilliant top-flight campaign last term. They went head-to-head with Manchester City and finished just two points behind.

William Saliba was a key player in the heart of the backline and he has been nominated for the Ballon d'Or for his defensive contributions.

Declan Rice was likewise a revelation in the centre of the park. He brought more control to the proceedings with his superb passing range.

He has also made the cut alongside Martin Odegaard, whose form was brilliant during the second half of the previous campaign.

Bukayo Saka is the final Arsenal name on the 30-man shortlist. The Gunners graduate managed the most goal contributions.

Arsenal missed out on the title despite a strong showing. They will be aiming to go all the way to lift the Premier League trophy this term.
