Arsenal could return for Benjamin Sesko next year
Arsenal could make a renewed approach for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko at the end of the season, according to Marco Guidi.
The Gunners were eager to land the Slovenian star this summer and talks were reportedly advanced with him and his representatives.
However, the 21-year-old opted to stay put with the Bundesliga outfit. He penned a new long-term deal without any kind of release clause.
Despite this, the young marksman is being touted to leave next summer and Guidi claims that Arsenal could return with an approach for him.
The Gunners were prepared to pay his £55m release clause and the striker could now cost £67 million or more when the campaign ends.
Sesko has managed four goals and three assists this term. Arsenal are likely to monitor him closely before making a renewed transfer offer.
Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus are presently the striker options for Arsenal. The latter could head for the exit door if Sesko were to join.
