Bukayo Saka missing for Arsenal vs Bournemouth, Merino makes full debut
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has handed a full debut to midfielder Mikel Merino in today's Premier League clash at Bournemouth.
The Gunners have had a fantastic start to the campaign and they can temporarily return to the top of the table with a victory.
Ahead of the game, the manager has made multiple changes from the recent win over Southampton.
Merino, Ben White and Leandro Trossard are all handed starts with Jorginho, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka making way for Arsenal.
Jesus and Jorginho find themselves on the bench for the late kick-off, but Saka has not made the trip with a minor hamstring issue.
Arsenal have had the better of the Cherries over recent seasons and the fans will be anticipating another solid victory at the Vitality Stadium.
Saka's absence is a huge blow for the London giants, but Sterling has been handed another big opportunity to prove his credentials.
He had his moments against the Saints before the international break, but lacked the cutting edge with his decision-making in the box.
