Roy Keane reacts to Liverpool's win vs Man City
Manchester United legend Roy Keane has heaped praise on Liverpool following their 2-0 Premier League win over Manchester City at Anfield.
The Merseyside giants continued their dominance at the top of the table with a convincing victory. Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah scored the goals.
Meanwhile, the Reds never looked like conceding to the Cityzens and speaking after the game, Keane said that the performance was outstanding.
He said: "Liverpool had energy, pace, power, they should've scored a lot more goals and had a real desire to keep a clean sheet at the end. Outstanding Liverpool performance."
Liverpool have had a stunning first season under manager Arne Slot and they are currently top of the standings with a nine-point lead over Arsenal.
The Reds look in pole position to win their second Premier League title and it remains to be seen whether they can sustain the ongoing momentum.
Liverpool face Newcastle away from home in midweek and it could provide another stern test of their title credentials this campaign.
