Enzo Maresca drops injury update on three Chelsea stars
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has provided an injury update on three players following the 2-1 Premier League win over Brentford at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have exceeded expectations in the early part of the campaign and they are only two points behind league leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
The west London giants recently got the better of Brentford at home and speaking after the game, Maresca dropped an update on three players, who were missing.
The Italian said that Joao Felix and Romeo Lavia could recover from their respective niggles for the next game, but Benoit Badiashile could be out for some time.
He said: "Joao Felix and Romeo Lavia can probably be available for the next game. Unfortunately, Badiashile felt something."
The Blues have been in fantastic form since the international break with a 100 percent record. They could emerge as serious title contenders if they can sustain the streak.
Chelsea host Shamrock Rovers in the Europa Conference League on Thursday before facing Everton on the road in the Premier League this weekend.
