Arsenal favourites to sign Bundesliga striker?

Arsenal are reportedly leading Chelsea in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush this winter.

The Gunners have had a disappointing Premier League campaign and they are nine points adrift of leaders Liverpool after 18 games played.

The club have been inconsistent in the striking department and may look for an upgrade on Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus next month.

Caught Offside report that the Gunners and the Blues are now interested in signing Marmoush, who has been a revelation at Eintracht.

The 25-year-old has been in sensational form with 18 goals and 12 assists in all competitions and could head for the exit door this winter.

The Bundesliga outfit are open to selling him for around £50 million and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal make an approach for him.

Chelsea are also admirers of the Egypt international, but they may not make such a huge outlay unless they offload a high-profile attacker.

Christopher Nkunku has been linked with an exit lately.
