Chelsea make contact to sign Spanish winger
Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Deportivo La Coruna over the availability of Yeremay Hernandez this winter.
The Blues are aiming to bolster their attack and they are interested in signing the Spaniard, who has excelled in La Liga 2.
The 22-year-old has registered eight goals and provided three assists for Deportivo, who are presently 15th in the division.
Chelsea have offered to pay €15 million for the talented winger, but Deportivo have no plans of parting ways with him.
Deportivo president has already spoken with Hernandez. There is a gentleman's agreement that he will stay put.
Hernandez has started to realise his potential this season. He is also grateful to the Spanish club for showing faith in him.
Chelsea may have to wait until the summer to land his signature.
They won't be alone in the pursuit. Arsenal and Manchester United are also admirers of the Spain Under-21 international.
Hernandez wants to be playing European football next term.
