Al-Nassr reach verbal agreement to sign Chelsea target
Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr have reached a verbal agreement to sign Chelsea target Jhon Duran from Aston Villa, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Colombia international has been a regular off the bench for Villa this campaign. He is now prepared to consider a lucrative move to Saudi.
Al-Nassr have reached an agreement to sign him for around €75m up front, but a transfer is not guaranteed at the current point of time, as per Romano.
The Saudi heavyweights are also looking to negotiate a fee with Bayer Leverkusen for Victor Boniface. They will only sign one of the duo.
Duran has been frustrated with his limited minutes for Villa this term, but his scenario could still change with Arsenal's interest in Ollie Watkins.
Watkins is a boyhood Arsenal fan and there is a good possibility that he could move to the north London giants over the next few days.
With the Saudi transfer window closing on Friday, Duran may want more clarity on Villa's stance on Watkins to decide on his future.
