Tottenham reach agreement with Bayern for Mathys Tel
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign Arsenal and Chelsea target Mathys Tel, as per French publication L'Equipe.
The north London giants are determined to bolster their centre-forward ranks this winter following a knee injury for Dominic Solanke.
Tel has been their top target and L'Equipe claim that the club have agreed to sign the wonderkid for around €60 million from Bayern.
However, a transfer is far from certain. The teenager is still considering his options and could wait for other transfer offers on the table.
Chelsea and Arsenal are among his admirers. The Blues have been in constant contact, but have yet to convince the ex-Rennes ace.
Arsenal have not made an approach yet, but reports claim that Tel would like to hear from the Gunners before deciding his next move.
Mikel Arteta's side could lodge a formal approach in the coming hours after failing to convince Aston Villa to sell Ollie Watkins for €48m.
