Man Utd keeping tabs on Nigerian striker ahead of summer?
Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the performances of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window, according to TalkSPORT.
The Nigerian star was on the radar of Chelsea last summer, but he refused to join them with a pay-cut. He eventually decided to join Galatasaray on loan for the campaign.
Osimhen has been brilliant for the Turkish giants with 19 goals and five assists, and he could pursue a bigger challenge at the end of the season.
His release clause will reduce from €120m to €75m this summer and United are reportedly keeping tabs on him ahead of a potential transfer bid.
United have struggled in the final third this campaign. Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirzkee have netted a combined five goals in the top-flight.
The club seriously need an upgrade with an experienced and reliable option. Osimhen would be a perfect candidate to lead the attack for them.
United could face competition from Chelsea for the 26-year-old.
