Liverpool want to sign Atalanta man as Mohamed Salah's replacement?
Liverpool have earmarked Atalanta attacker Ademola Lookman as a replacement for Mohamed Salah this summer, according to Sky Sport CH.
The Merseyside giants have been in stupendous form under manager Arne Slot and they have lost just one game in the Premier League thus far.
They are firm favourites to lift the title at the end of the season and this could pave the way for Salah to leave when his contract expires on June 30.
The Reds are preparing for the possibility and it is claimed that they have held concrete talks with the representatives of Lookman over a transfer.
The Nigerian's contract with Atalanta expires in June next year and he has already made the decision to pursue a new challenge away from Bergamo.
Atalanta could demand around £35 million for the 27-year-old, who has registered 17 goals and provided seven assists in 29 games this term.
Arsenal are also interested in his services but are yet to hold any talks.
