INEOS planning sensational swoop for world-class striker?
Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe could make a sensational move for Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane at the end of the season, according to Fichajes.
The England international was a top target for the Red Devils in the summer of 2023, but Tottenham Hotspur preferred to sell him abroad to Bayern.
United ended up signing Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta. The Dane has been hugely disappointing and has netted just twice in the league this term.
It is now reported that Ratcliffe and INEOS are preparing for a big summer ahead and a marquee striker could be one of the top priorities for them.
The club could return for the services of Kane with reports emerging that he has a release clause worth £54m in his contract for this summer.
The 31-year-old has had another fine season with Bayern. He has accumulated 29 goals from 32 appearances across all competitions.
Kane looks on course to win the first silverware of his career. Bayern are presently eight points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
