Arsenal could receive injury boost for PSG clash
Arsenal could receive an injury boost ahead of the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
The Gunners suffered a 1-0 loss to the French champions at the Emirates Stadium last week and they need to overturn the deficit to make the final.
Arsenal will face Bournemouth in the league prior to that game. Speaking in his pre-match presser, manager Mikel Arteta provided some positive news.
Arteta said that Jorginho, Riccardo Calafiori and Kai Havertz are ruled out of the league encounter, but could still make the squad for the Paris trip.
None of the trio have returned to full training but they will be assessed on a day-by-day basis and could be involved against the French champions.
Arsenal are presently second in the league table with 67 points. They will be aiming to end the league campaign on a high with four wins.
Arteta could pick a strong starting XI on Saturday. The club need form and momentum ahead of the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
