Man Utd have submitted offer to sign Bryan Mbeumo
Manchester United have submitted an offer to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
The Red Devils are expected to make multiple signings during the summer transfer window. Wolves' Matheus Cunha is the top target, but the club are keen on pursuing another versatile forward too.
Mbeumo is primarily a right winger by trade but can operate upfront. Fichajes now claim that United have offered £55 million to purchase the Cameroon international from the Blues this summer.
The 25-year-old has been exceptional for the Bees this campaign. He has registered an impressive tally of 19 goals and nine assists in all competitions for the west London outfit.
He is poised to pursue a new challenge in the summer and it appears United have made the first move. Mbeumo could be tempted to join them but there is likely to be plenty of competition too.
Liverpool and Arsenal are among clubs monitoring him and could enter the race. Brentford could hold out for a higher fee if there is a bidding war.
