Amorim has told Garnacho to leave Man Utd
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has informed Alejandro Garnacho to leave the club during the summer transfer window.
The Argentina international has had a decent campaign with the Red Devils. He has registered 21 goal contributions from 58 appearances.
Despite this, his future is uncertain at the Red Devils. Amorim prefers to play with two attacking midfielders and Garnacho does not suit his system as a wide player.
The Athletic now claim that Amorim has told Garnacho to pursue a new challenge this summer as he does not feature in his first-team plans.
United are already in advanced talks over a potential replacement. Matheus Cunha has agreed personal terms and could join from Wolves soon.
Aside from a playmaker, the Red Devils are also keen on landing a new centre-forward. Liam Delap is one of the top names on their radar.
The Ipswich Town striker can be signed for a package of around £30 million following his club's relegation to the Championship.
