Viktor Gyokeres rejects Man Utd for Arsenal transfer

Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres has given the green light to join Arsenal instead of Manchester United this summer, according to Record.
The Sweden international had a sensational 2024/25 season with the Portuguese champions, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists.
He is now ready for a bigger challenge in his career and reports claim that he is prepared to choose the Gunners over the Red Devils this summer.
United have been in constant contact with Sporting Lisbon for the 27-year-old, but they are now unlikely to secure his services, as per Record.
The striker has given his priority to the Gunners and the north London giants now need to choose between him and Benjamin Sesko pretty soon.
It is unlikely that the Gunners will sign both strikers, but Mikel Arteta's side could still spring up a surprise by securing transfer deals for the duo.
The news is a huge setback for United, who turned their attention to Gyokeres recently after Liam Delap chose to join Chelsea over them.
