AC Milan want Arsenal defender to replace Hernandez
Serie A giants AC Milan are keen on landing Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko to replace Theo Hernandez, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Al Hilal over the potential sale of Hernandez. The Frenchman was initially reluctant to accept the move, but has been convinced after a lengthy negotiation.
With his departure, the Milan giants are expected to invest in another experienced left-back and talks are underway with the Gunners for the purchase of Zinchenko, who has a year left on his contract.
Zinchenko has already given the green light for the transfer and he is prepared to accept a pay cut too. Milan believe they can sign the Ukrainian for just €17m, but the Gunners may have a different price tag.
London rivals Fulham are also interested in the former Manchester City man. Arsenal will be hoping for a bidding war to increase the price tag for the versatile left-back, who can also play in midfield.
