Spanish sports daily Marca has outrageously reported that Manchester United would be willing to sell their most valuable asset Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid if only the Spanish giants would dig out a cash of not less than €50 million and three of the best players in their side.

Marca reports that they could sign the 23-year old Portuguese winger should they agree to give Robinho, Mahamadou Diarra and Sergio Ramos to Man United along with the cash.

This is as much amusing as audacious. Should indeed Real Madrid decide to part with these three players, then they would have a very unbalanced team.

Robinho has been at his best in Spain in the recently concluded 2007-2008 La Liga season, Diarra has been a consistent rock in the middle of the park while Sergio Ramos is arguably the best right in Europe.

The trio played crucial roles in Real's back-to-back La Liga triumphs and it is very much unlikely that Real Madrid would like to part with them.

It is equally unlikely that the players would like to swap the Santiago Bernabeu for Old Trafford. Robinho though is being heavily linked with Chelsea but even he has refused to hear anything about any offer from Man United.
